Moviegoers looking for a bite to eat have a new option in Indian Land with the opening of Aroma Indian Grill.

Aroma recently opened in the former Red Rocks space at 9648 Red Stone Dr., in the RedStone shopping center. The Indian restaurant is beside the RedStone 14 movie theater. Red Rocks closed last fall.

Shopping center developer MPV Properties announced Aroma’s opening. It has a full bar and is open for lunch and dinner.

Following Aroma at RedStone are Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream in the former Menchie’s storefront at 9716 Red Stone Dr. by mid-year, and a 2,300-square-foot PetMedic animal clinic in a building under construction by the same time next year.

Aroma takes up an almost 5,700-square-foot restaurant space with a patio overlooking the movie theater entrance. The space opened in 2018.

Overall, RedStone is a planned 310,000-square-foot regional shopping center at U.S. 521 and S.C. 160. It’s a short drive from Fort Mill, or to the state line at Ballantyne and Charlotte.
